The Lady In The Glass

A woman trapped inside twisted glass whispers stories to a lonely survivor in the ruins of a dead world. Stories of people, places and other worlds. Stories in which things rarely end well.

There’s an assassin with somebody else’s secret buried inside her head. A former racing driver with a taste for petrol and revenge. A woman condemned to walk an icebound planet by a survival suit that refuses to let her die. Colonists undone by creatures they cannot stop loving. Children raised to worship a ruined Earth. And ordinary people discovering that death doesn’t always arrive in the form they expected.

The Lady in the Glass collects twelve stories ranging across science fiction, horror, fantasy and the contemporary, linked by death, survival, revenge, faith, love and the occasionally terrible consequences of being human.

Some are bleak. Some are funny. Some are vicious.

Death, after all, has more than one story to tell.
